LOT Boeing 767 Belly landing

Here is video of the B763 LOT plane performing gear up landing at Warsaw following a flight from Newark. LOT16 was on approach when they received an unsafe gear indication and alternative methods to lower the gear failed. The cause was determined to be a hydraulic failure.

Air Transat 236 Glides into Azores - Re Enactment

On 24 August 2001, Air Transat Flight 236 (TSC236) ran out of fuel while flying over the Atlantic Ocean. The pilots of the aircraft safely glided and landed the aircraft at a naval base in the island of Azores. The fuel starvation was caused by improper maintenance work, which allowed a hydraulic oil pipe and a fuel pipe to rub together, resulting in the fracture of the fuel pipe and consequent leak.
